Editor-in-Chief

Ameera Salman is a sophomore studying Journalism and Arts and Entertainment Management. She also works for The Eastern Echo and enjoys writing in her spare time. One of Ameera’s favorite parts of the job is the community that she’s built and the people she’s met.

Layout and Design Team Lead

Kelsea Pearson is a Senior at Eastern Michigan University striving for a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design. This is her second year with Cellar Roots and is itching to present another amazing design towards this year’s issue. In her free time, she enjoys reading a high fantasy or romance novel, playing guitar or piano, and consuming art.

Poetry Editor

Jasmine Scroggins is a junior at Eastern Michigan University. She is majoring in English with a Creative Writing concentration and minoring in Marketing. Her interests include writing poetry, painting, playing guitar and hiking. She plans to continue her education after graduating by pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing to prepare for a writing based career.

Fiction Editor

Isabelle Raudszus is an English major with a planned concentration in literature and a minor in creative writing. She joined Cellar Roots because she loves working in creative spaces with other creative people. She wants to contribute to giving people the chance to tell their story and express themselves, and she believes Cellar Roots is the perfect place to do that.

Marketing & Outreach Coordinator

Sarah Schneider is a Junior at Eastern Michigan University majoring in Business Marketing. This is her first year working with Cellar Roots. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with family, playing with family dogs because she really wants one of her own, group fitness classes, watching tv shows, movies, or sports, listening to music, and traveling.
